Biography
Of Counsel to the firm, Donald E. Pallett, earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Colorado in 1971. He was a member of the United States Park Police from 1974 to 1979, and then earned his Juris Doctor Degree from George Mason University in 1982. While at George Mason University, he was a member of the George Mason University Law Review, served as a coach for the National Moot Court team, and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi fraternity.
Mr. Pallett is a Member of the Maryland and National American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association. As a member in good standing with the Maryland Court of Appeals, he has frequently appeared in appellate litigation in Maryland courts, and has also been admitted to the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Pallett’s primary areas of concentration include personal injury, automobile accident and slip-and-fall litigation, family law matters including divorce and child custody, and child support. He also is proficient in real estate law, trusts, estates, criminal law and traffic matters.
An advocate of physical fitness, Mr. Pallett is an avid snow skier and surfer. He holds a 1st Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, as well as a brown belt in T’ai Chi. Mr. Pallett is fully fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), and has assisted on a pro bono basis with many seminars offering legal advice to persons in the mid-Atlantic area who are speech- and hearing-impaired.
